Besides the obvious savings in $$$, are there any other benefits to signing up for the Lifetime Membership? Thanks in advance Briana Dawson Club Vogue Dancer

The biggest benefit (besides saving money in the long run) is probably the ability to take a LONG sabbatical from SL, and finding all your stuff intact when you get back.

One thing that I got when I bought the lifetime membership was this awesome feeling of anxiousness. I'm going to be able to tell people in years to come that I don't have to pay to play because so long ago I bought the lifetime membership and because SL will be such a hot product, they will whine and whine

A few thoughts about this myself: -I no longer have to worry about that little (limited number available) message next to the lifetime membership option. Got it while I still could, I figured. -If I ever (god forbid) need to take a looong break from SL for like a month or something, I won't feel like I've wasted (whatever the monthly fee is) during that month. Or if I'm short on time for a few months (heh) I won't feel like I'm wasting my monthly membership...since I'm not paying one. -Why wouldn't you want this? ((In case you tried to think up an answer to the above: -Well, that's a stupid reason. ))

Depends on whether you can scare up the money and you think you'll be around in, say, six months or a year or whenever from now.
I haven't been inworld much due to the excruciating lag and to RL.

For me, whenever i'd buy a membership to some online game, i'd always feel under pressure to go and play it before the registration ran out. Because i have lifetime membership, i enjoy SL more I can log on cause i want to, and not because i feel the need to hurry up and get all i can out of it before the time runs out. Its sweet

Its sweet I can't put any more emphasis on this bold and underlined DITTO.

The current $225 works out to 15 months at the base monthly rate. I figure I will play at least that long, and as already stated, there is no pressure to get online every spare minute each month to get your money's worth. And, the money is already spent, so it frees up some monthly funds to play another game that comes along worth paying for.
