Colin Quinn's last episode of 'Tough Crowd' just aired..

... The people have spoken and his unfunny-forced-overly rehearsed ass has been
canned. Never again to polute my cable connection...

The tribe has spoken...Let the healing begin!

Siggy.

Maybe it was the network reacting to the pictures of him and the hooker fingering herself on the set of howard stern. www.howardstern.com

I think it was just the fact the Colin Quinn sucked. Remember when he tried to anchor the news on SNL? Every single joke was a bomb. I'm not sure what he's funny at, or why people ever thought he was funny. Good riddance!

I guess they finally realized that after watching the Daily Show, comedy central viewers don't want to see a bunch of comedians making unfunny jokes about important issues and yelling at each other about their appearance when the argument gets too heated. It's about time they got rid of this trash.

Duct tape is like the force -- dark on one side, light on the other, and it binds the universe together....

But see - no matter your view, no matter your political stance, we can all come together and say "COLIN QUINN SUCKED BALLS - BIG HAIRY UNFUNNY BALLS"

My favorite time watching that show was when Todd Glass came on and was completely taken aback by the format of it. About halfway through he just started making fun of all of them and mocking the way they do things, realizing that he would never be on the show again. Oh it was great...

Of course this was before I just started automatically turning the TV off when it came on.

Colin Quinn makes me cry he's so not funny. i've seriously laughed harder at funerals. he never got so much as a corner of the mouth twitch. he's so unfunny he makes me mad. he's an anti-comdian. :D

Oh! I remeber something else I loved about it. When it started, one of the things they showed in the beginning was "Four rounds of smart comedy."

Then in the second season it had changed to "Four rounds of honest comedy."

I guess they realized it wasn't smart at all :D

Pity they didn't have another season, they might have dumped the word 'comedy' out and been a lot closer to 'honest'

Man this rocks - see how we are all drawn together!!!

My friend saw Colin Quinn a few years ago live at his college. He said he sucked big time.

Now, Tough Crowd was a decent idea, since other people on the show = higher % chance of comedy. (Colin Quinn chance of comedy = 0, hence anyone else > 0 )

Maybe once Colin Powell retires in the next couple weeks, they could get together and do "Colin and Colin: Colons Together" - a men's health show.

The whole concept of 'tough crowd' may have worked.. sort of the other end of the spectrum of 'politically incorrect with Bill Maher'.

But to have a comedy show about current politics and view you need a comic who is versed in current affairs and is funny.

Colin falls short on both counts.

Bill Maher, John Stewart, someone in that vein would really make a kick arse show out of this concept.

Colin Quinn... he's the Nancy Reagan of SNL move-ons ... just say no.

Siggy.

(P.S. LET THE MOTHERFUCKING HEALING BEGIN!)

The few times I watched the show I just thought it was embarassing. Nothing like watching a bunch of people sit around making unfunny jokes about issues they don't understand. I like the format but they're always so clueless it's just painful. I'm surprised it lasted this long.
