Please don't flame me for posting this.... for whatever reason. I have had one of those money trees by Sapphire set up and running for several days now, and suddenly today I logged on and it says it's holding money, but no money is visible on it. I took it into my inv and brought it back out, and it gave me errors "Script run-time error" and "stack-heap collision." I hated to remove the tree but for now I have. I've messaged Sapphire explaning what has happened but have received no response now for about 2hrs eventhough he/she is online. I'm going out of town in the morning and hated to leave a dystfuntional money tree out. Anyway, anyone out there geekier than me who knows what may be causing this error? Does it sound like something is wrong with the script or is it a problem local to my parcel or sim? If anyone has had this happen and knows what's going on with it, please do tell!

Not sure about the money tree problem... But had a vendor that was brought back to inventory and then put back out do the same thing... Seems that crash a few days ago has knocked a few things loose.

Not sure, but stack heap collisions seem to be spreading I have 3 scripted attachments I've pretty much always worn. These days, one sticks at the sim border and floods me with anim error popups while the other two die with stack heap collisions. Every single time I move from sim to sim. Much fun having to remove all your attachments or recompile every time you want to move. Good job I don't go many places.

Sapphire may have been busy scripting. He gets really into it from what I can tell. But when he is around to answers, he's really responsive -- as witnessed by the commentary in previous forum threads regarding the Money Trees. I don't know what's going on, Stormy, but I do hope you get an answer soon. Take care.

Hey guys, I am working on this. It happens when you have nobody picking and the tree fills up with too many items. I am going to have to scale back the time it takes items to drop and die again. Guess our newbies our losing steam and picking less - that is why this is showing up more. I should have a fix out soon. BTW it fails safely. For now you may remove your tree and any left over items and rez a new tree if you like. My busy message states I am AFK - which I was (I actually do sleep - regardless of what you have heard). My mouse has this habit of 'twitching' a bit and keeping me logged in.

V3.0 of both types of Money Tree is available at Bravo Bravo - Garmisch(60,200)This fixes the memory problem when large numbers of bills accumulate in the tree. The time for bills to fall to the ground is still 12 hours and the time for bills to rot (die) after being on the ground is still 12 hours (24 hour lifetime). The maximum number of bills/fruit in a tree now is approximately 100 at a time. The tree will not spawn any more until some have been picked. I suggest everyone upgrade. PS - I removed the sound loop entirely from the Hong Bao tree. I found the looped sounds can be a bit buggy and linger unwantedly.

My tree is picked clean all the time. Heh, but I will upgrade anyways. Thanks Sapphire for making such a great free item that helps out newbies!
