How can I find?

I'm new to this and I bought and payed for a house and forget to take it home with me. Is there any chance I can find back to it to take it with me? I don't remember where it was or from whom I bought it...

I'm sorry, but I think that's gonna be hard.
Maybe you put in on land that has autoreturn on. It will then eventually (ususally within a few hours) return to your inventory.
If you put it in a sandbox (a special building area) it will eventually be deleted.

A tip to look for things: open the minimap and fly around. Your objects will be on it as blue dots...

Would it show up in account history/?

Purchases don't show up, i don't think.

It's seems odd to me that you got an 'original' house though. USUALLY, items are sold as copies, and they appear in your inventory immediately - you don't have to right click and 'take' the item you are purchasing, because it's giving you a copy of it so the seller can continue to sell to other people. I'd suggest poking through your inventory - perhaps in the 'objects' folder?

You can get a complete list of your transactions by clicking on My Account while logged into the Second Life web site. Scroll to the bottom of your account page and look on the right hand side. There is a link there to view your transactions. That shows both purchases and credits. Find out who you payed for the house and IM them in game.

No, like the other say: if you have bought it, it's probably somewhere in your inventory.
Maybe a new folder, maybe just under Objects
