There seems to be a variable number of cubes missing from the eight by eight grid. Of course, it is possible that we are supposed to believe that this variation is part of the design. Artsy types are always trying to pass off defective grids and other misshapened structures that deviate from wonderful, logical, beautifully predictable mathematically perfect ideals as art and we all know that's it cause Mr. or Ms. Artsy lost the remaining cubes or got them stuck trying to put them in round holes or some such.

At any rate this is a matter of utmost importance and requires immediate attention from all the staff at Linden Lab, even those off-duty need to be paged or called or have their doors knocked down to wake them up and get this most serious problem dealt with post-haste.

This is a known issue.

Sue or anyone else who sees the art cubes vanish in front of your eyes, and better yet, can figure some method to reproduce this behavior, please post about it.

Zuzi, head to the Welcome Area in Ahern, and look at the side opposite the Prim Attack table. I have a photo on my blog too.

I also took some pics of the art cube...Torley was around.

The missing blocks in my pic are in the same place as in Torley's pic.

New one from right before the Mass Forced Exodus, curiously enough missing different blocks...

Zuzi: Basically, you click on any block and it switches to any of a few basic colors.
