SL and some other programs I run always restore the 'default' brightness settings on my computer when I quit...um why? Anyone else have this problem? At first I thought it was OpenGL proggy related, but WWIIOL (which is supposed to be OpenGL now) does not cause this. It doesn't matter if SL runs windowed mode or fullscreen either. Any time I exit a program that does this I have to go back to my stupid display settings and reset the brightness higher so that it's reasonable again. Also I have to reboot next time I want to start another fullscreen program because even after I fix the settings it'll go and reset them again when I start another program up. Major annoyance. It's gotten annoying enough that I've even thought about writing a stupid program I could run that'd reset my brightness/contrast settings to what I need (even though I don't know where to start on that). But what's causing it in the first place??

WTF is C3PO supposed to be USEFUL for anyway, besides whining? Stupid piece of scrap metal would be more useful recycled as a toaster. But even that would suck, because who would want to listen to a whining wussy toaster? Is he gold plated? If that's the case he should just be melted down into gold ingots. Help the economy some, and stop being so damn useless you stupid bucket of bolts! R2 is 1,000 times more useful than your tin man ass, and he's shaped like a salt and pepper shaker FFS!

I can't believe nobody has this problem. I am the only one who thinks my default brightness and gamma settings are bad? Must be monitor related...
