With all the recent talk of the Army attempting to recreate a virtual earth, it got me thinking.
In the future, it my be possible to go on a virtual vacation. The greek Isles, Grand Canyon, Swiss Alps, all these places may just be a mouse click away some day.
Where would you go?

I would go vacationing on the sun, because I like warm weather. It's kind of bright, so I would wear shades all the way and land at night.

but Weds, You can't work the machine if you have more than 3 fingers... plus your eyes will get almost sucked out of your head (that REALLY creeped me out when I was younger)

If I could go on a virtual vacation, I would want to go somewhere I can determine the ambience of my surroundings completely- also, I would want to be able to defy gravity, have Godlike powers of creation and control over my environment, absolutely no bad hair days, and the ability to instantly trim down for a bikini or mend up for a bustier. ..oh wait...  |

Oz? Nah, if I could go anywhere for a vacation, you can bet ALOT of money that I won't be going to a place where there's a disproportionate population of midgets, flying monkeys (which probably still throw crap), total weirdos dressed as strange characters who are really just humans in costumes (which think they are not human), and people who constantly sing totally bad and annoying music. No thanks.

WTF is C3PO supposed to be USEFUL for anyway, besides whining? Stupid piece of scrap metal would be more useful recycled as a toaster. But even that would suck, because who would want to listen to a whining wussy toaster? Is he gold plated? If that's the case he should just be melted down into gold ingots.
