The 1.2 messages flying back and forth on here are getting confusing for a lot of people, as there are pieces of things in multiple threads and the threads get bumped up and down very quickly. As an alternative, there is a 1.2 specific forum available on SLUniverse.com at http://www.sluniverse.com/forums/

Pendari has been nice enough to put together a comprehensive 1.2 thread containing statements made by Lindens regarding specific issues, and she will continue to update the thread as necessary - it is available here:

Again this is not to side step the Second Life forums, just to provide another view of this very fast moving topic.
