I have on two other occasions been setting the price on land and lag or by simple forgetfullness made a mistake in pricing. Both times someone in the area quickly took advantage of this mistake and profited from my misfortune. Well tonight I found myself in an IM and wrongly priced a 2048m2 lot for 1199 instead of 11999, and again someone quickly grab it with me still hovering over it. I IMed him explaining what had happened and he promptly reset the parcel price. I wanted to publicly thank Mr. RICX Currie for his honest behavior.  |

Well I have to jump in on this thread and say that it doesn't surprise me that Ricx did that. He is my "landlord" and he is one of the nicest and most honest people I have met in SL. I met him one day just looking around for furniture, in hopes of renting a place. After talking to him and taking a tour of his property, he rented me one of the cabins he built on the lot. I've been there over a month and I have to say I love it. If anyone gets the chance you should go check it out. He has done a magnificent job with it. and I am glad it all worked out for you, Blue |

Thanks for sharing. As cynical as I am, I do like hearing reports of people being kind, thoughtful and generous. Since people are more likely to post about people behaving badly, the good deeds of others often don't get the publicity they deserve. Gee, and I would have bought it at L$1199 thinking you weren't trying to gouge the market and being newbie/lowcash player friendly. Instead you raise the price ..... |

i had a similar experience like this with fantasydancer olsen. i had miss priced a 25000 L$ parcel at 2500 L$, a mistake worth over 100 USD at the time. upon explaning the mistake to her, she returned it to me in exchange for paying the tier difference she had incurred. she's a class act! btw, this thread is in the wrong forum.
