So I was checking out http://www.welovetheiraqiinformationminister.com/ ...
remember this guy? It occured to me that Bush is sounding more and more like him!

read through some of the quotes on the page, and think about similar things Bush has said...
... here's some of my thoughts, though I wish I had side-by-side quotes:

"There are no American infidels in Baghdad. Never!"
- Think about how Bush has talked about insurgency.

"I blame Al-Jazeera - they are marketing for the Americans!"
- Consider right-wing opinion of Al-Jazeera

"No I am not scared, and neither should you be!"
- Bush insists Americans should go about daily lives despite an increasing use of fear mongering to forward the agenda and his re-election

"Be assured. Baghdad is safe, protected"
"Who are in control, they are not in control of anything - they don't even control themselves!"
- How many times has Bush & Co. stated that the US is totally in control of Baghdad despite insurgency?

"We are not afraid of the Americans. Allah has condemned them. They are stupid. They are stupid" (dramatic pause) "and they are condemned."
"These cowards have no morals. They have no shame about lying"
"They do not even have control over themselves! Do not believe them!"
"Desperate Americans"
- Consider how the insurgents have been labeled simply as evildoers and barbaric disorganized fighters.

He did make a good observation, though.
"Bush, Blair and Rumsfeld. They are the funny trio"

Funny - but after Bush's Inaugural speech I actually thought this same thing (no kidding). In fact, my thoughts were that perhaps Muhammed Saeed al-Sahaf found a new position in America writing Bush's speaches. :D
