Please take this opportunity to voice your opinion on what your favorite RPGs mean to you. Give your friends the same opportunity by passing on the poll!

Your last post was about this too. And was only three days ago.

I know, I'm sorry but I really want more people to take this poll. It's very important.

No offense, but this isn't really an RPG.

lol guys, relax

I'll take it while I'm waiting for my tea to brew!

Edit: Do you presently play any form of computer-based role-playing game? Yes No
(If you answered "No," please scroll to the end of this survey and click the "Submit" button once.)

Ahh, I see Darwin's point now!

Edit 2: Er well I agree that SL isn't an RPG but since it's the only one I play atm (Neverwinter Nights on long term vacation, and WWIIOL sure as hell isn't RPG) and it's listed in the poll I'll just use SL.

BTW

WTF is C3PO supposed to be USEFUL for anyway, besides whining? Stupid piece of scrap metal would be more useful recycled as a toaster. But even that would suck, because who would want to listen to a whining wussy toaster? Is he gold plated? If that's the case he should just be melted down into gold ingots. Help the economy some, and stop being so damn useless you stupid bucket of bolts! R2 is 1,000 times more useful than your tin man ass, and he's shaped like a salt and pepper shaker FFS!

Do not forget though, there are games made by people in 2nd life that are RPG's. Before i had to leave for college, DarkLife was one of the first games i played, and i loved what they had done with it! I actually quit playing Everquest for the simplicity of the Darklife group. Right now it is down for some time, and there are new games like sporty Jetball arising to the seat!

Actually, a lot of SL involves roleplaying... a lot of Daemioth is not really me, though it's sort of one aspect of me magnified. I'm sure others can relate completely to this.

On the other hand, I'm really curious about the research you are doing. Are you, by any chance, working on some kind of thesis on the productive possibilities and potentialities of RPGs on real life society/communication? If so (or if about anything else involving RPGs), I'll die to see the results of your work. I'm working towards my Masters in Education for English/Language Arts and I'm convinced RPGs have a place in the curriculum somewhere...

That one's for free, just give me a citation in MLA format. ;)
