The Gmail FIC has got to go!

That constantly changing number of bytes on the Gmail page, and the way it makes the text cursor flicker - it's driving completely insane!

For the sake of public sanity and the salvation of all mankind, please join me in my efforts to stop Gmail FIC!

(* FIC is an acronym for Flickering Insanely Cursor.)

Yes. The changing number of bytes counter is just as mesmerising as the real time Population of China counter. I may have to swap which one I watch for a while.
