Recently ms announced they are in talks to sell the right to a halo movie. Considering over 800,000 thousand people have signed up for xbox live sense the released of halo 2. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who would be looking forward to a halo movie. Just as the movie contains one of those little ewok monster shouting zooteeny.
But what other video game do you think would make a good movie? And what would the plot be about?
if I made a movie , based on a video game, I think i'd chose fallout, quake, or maybe counter strike. Of corse fallout would have the best opening out of those 3 choices. I could just imagine the hole 'war never changes' speech, or some thing like it. While the screen flickers showing a recording of inter continental missile escaping their silos. Rockets climbing up into the air leaving a think trail of black smoke. Hundred missile falling down from space like a barrage of arrows.

One thing recent history has taught me is that whenever Hollywood gets their hands on the rights to popular video games, the end product is pure crap. I wouldn't get my hopes up.  _____________________

Video games that are based on movies tend to stink on ice as well. However, there are a few exceptions, but they are few and far between. _____________________

I loved "Fianl Fantasy:The Spirits Within", thought it was an excellent movie, some of the best CGI I have ever seen, too. I also loved Resident Evil and Resident Evil 2.
