How big of a plot do I need If I want to use my log cabin that is in my in inventory?

Well if you want a nice big back and front yard, i'd suggest 64x64  . Heh, but really for the log cabin, I would suspect you don't need any more then 8x8 or perhaps 12x12 (3 "chunks" of 4meters each / rows and collums). --Water ps... sorry, I don't remember the exact dimensions of the cabin, as I haven't looked at mine since april... but you could also find some publc land, whip out the cabin, and then get the plots underneath it

If it's one of the prefab cabins, have you looked at the campground sims? They were pretty empty last time I looked.

That was a nice area. I'm not sure that I landmaked it. I'm still looking when I have time and I still need to read up on buying land.

I had just a cabin for a little while in Mocha, and it took up an area that was 12X12, or nine squares of land, or three squares of land by three squares of land.
I'd suggest adding three squares on one side or the other for a little yard.
