World of Warcraft Character DB now available

Since so many players of Second Life are checking out the newly launched World of Warcraft, I have added a player directory, similar to what I added when City of Heroes launched. The directory is available at http://www.sluniverse.com/warcraft/ and allows you to browse by server and see who is playing and what their character's names are. You can add your own as well, and edit them at any time. In order to use the site to add or edit, you must first log into the forums, otherwise the add link will be greyed out. If you have trouble with the add link, try setting autologin to the SLU forums and it should work fine. Please note that if your SLUniverse user name is not your SL name, please let me know and I can correct it if needed.

WTF is C3PO supposed to be USEFUL for anyway, besides whining? Stupid piece of scrap metal would be more useful recycled as a toaster. But even that would suck, because who would want to listen to a whining wussy toaster? Is he gold plated? If that's the case he should just be melted down into gold ingots. Help the economy some, and stop being so damn useless you stupid bucket of bolts! R2 is 1,000 times more useful than your tin man ass, and he's shaped like a salt and pepper shaker FFS!

Garoad, I will create one upon release of the game, if there is enough interest in GW by SL players. I passed on EQ2, but WoW is setting records for account signups. I will definitely consider GW when it comes out

The character database link has now been added to the top level navigation of the SLUniverse Forums, and I have updated the server list to show the number of registered characters so far in the DB on each server. If the server you are playing on is not shown, please let me know and I will update the list - I have tried to keep it current so far.

I checked a little while ago and realized more servers have been added - I just added 23 more servers, for a total of 63. The servers indicate if they are PVP and RP as well.

Actually Cris, they are stating that there are a total of 88 servers. But four are out of commission. "Overheard in Dark Shore" Why is that night elf riding that sea monster backwards? Is that a hack? No, it's style. He came up underneath her, and she started jabbing it. The sea monster can't reach her to bite her. "Shouted from the sea..." Hell, this isn't style, it's TECHNIQUE!

I went through the list carefully and so far I can't find 88 servers, I'll keep looking though. I updated the page so that the first view is a list of all characters across all servers, to make it easier to see who is playing where. It is sorted by SL name, then by server.
