Introducing Radio SLive .. your Second Life radio channel. Tune into Radio SLive at http://slive.net ..click Listen to tune in.

We've got the hottest lineup of DJ's in Second Life who really make this thing happen. Watch the schedule section that will coming soon to find out when your favorite DJ will be playing. We really appreciate all the interest and support we've gotten so far.

The DJ lineup is (in no particular order):

Lucas Butler
Same Song
Westy Chaos
Darzus Strutt
Nala Galatea
Joshua Chaos
Pickin Cotton
Proximo Fate
Timmy Kuroda
Lady Dawson
Sabre Titan
Devyn Grimm

My dream for Radio SLive is to turn it into a station that has something for everyone. We already have many DJ's lined up to play for us, and a great variety of music to listen to, depending on who is playing. Darwin Appleby is planning to do a weekly show for us as well, called SL Weekly..where he will do commentary, news, interviews, etc... We would like to cover events, parties, plug SL businesses, and to have contest of our own. For plugging a business, we would ask for either a donation that we give away in our contest, or a prize (object, clothing, etc), something you make and sell that listerners can win.

Many thanks go out to all of you for making my dream project come to life, couldn't have done this without you guys. Special thanks to Phinz Phaeton who devoted hours upon hours setting up the shoutcast sever, websites, and all the techie details. Couldn't have done it without you, hugs :)

I listen to Radio SLive! It Rox!

DJ Nouc (Lucas Butler) plays kick'n Trance and Rave/Club tracks. Catch his sessions and you are guaranteed a good time.

If you don't have WinAmp d-loaded and installed....DO IT! Then tune in.

SCHEDULE BOYS AND GRRLS!
Please post a DJ/genre schedule so we know what to expect and when. ^_^ That would be very helpful....

Also, pls contact me as I would like to advertise with you.

Just a suggestion, definately NOT a complaint. It would be nice if we didn't have to reconnect to the stream when DJs change. Is this change possible? hard? easy?

Hi guys..thanks much for the support. At this time the dj's are still testing and having a problem connecting at the proper bitrate, which causes us listeners to have to reconnect to the stream. Once we get them all standardized at the same bitrate, you should not have to keep connecting. My apologies for all the problems.

The schedule...we are working on that now. Thanks for your support and patience :)

THere are ways of changing DJ without disconnecting the stream, just as Cori says though, the DJs are getting used to it.

I'll try get Nala Galatea to post how to do it, cause he knows.

Hey Cori I've used ShoutCast for a while for all kinds of things. It was a real pain in the ass to set it up but I have the secret :p If you got any problems, send me a PM or something and I'll help out.

It's been down for two days, though! Woe is the server meltdown! Woe is the lack of fine, upstanding music! Come back, SLive! Come back from your vacation!

Over the last couple of days we've been experiencing technical difficulties. But the problems have been ironed out and we're back on air.

We appreciate all the support we've recieved and apologize for the inconvenience. Its good to be back :D
