Hello. I just want to get feedback on something.
Today Jrenslow moved into Natoma, setting up a casino next to my property. It's not a pretty build, but I guess there's nothing wrong with that. It's his land and he can put a wobbling UFO on it if he likes. It's a matter of taste, after all.
The problem is that I'm trying to make a themed environment... ancient ruins and trees. Anyone who's visited Theatre Terra has seen the general mood I'm going for. I asked Jrenslow if I could put up a visual break between his place and mine, and he agreed to it. My plan is to texture it with trees on my side so it's unobtrusive.
On his side, it's transparent, so nobody visiting his casino needs to even know it's there.
Apparently he didn't like this and has put up walls around Theatre Terra. See the attachment.
I'd just like to get feedback... was I wrong to put up visual break? It's not done yet with the right texture, but Jrenslow seems pretty angry. I don't understand why, b/c it's not even visible from his side. He won't tell me why he doens't want it.
I didn't want to resort to the forum for this, but I really need to know if I've pushed the limits of what I can do by trying to hide the casino from my land.
Any feedback is very much appreciated!

I don't think you did anything wrong or overstepped your bounds Cubey. You talked to him and got his consent first, and the way you're proposing to do it should be pretty unobtrusive, especially if you make it phantom. Maybe he misunderstood and thought you were asking him to put up something between you? Might just be a simple mixup

Where jrenslow is concerned, i'll say this much, and i *assure* any questioning minds that im not the only one who feels this way..
If I were to encounter more people like Jrenslow Bach on a daily basis, I would eventually stop my subscription.
If I would have met people like jrenslow when I started my SecondLife trial, I would have moved on.
Jrenslow uses 'Push' scripts on everyone in Jessie, keeping them from their own property..
Its not so encouraging to see people get away with this, with nill Linden intervention..
Not a very secure feeling.. -_-

AH! even worse! A copy cat. Just kidding. From the back that is a spitting image of my AV - which isn't hard to make I guess its just long white hair and a suit.

Well we managed to resolve the problem amicably. Thanks for your feedback! Unfortunately, I've now claimed land faster than I wanted to. Taxes are going to hurt next time around. doh Anyone want to buy a Star Trek uniform?

Capt Kirk had 2 solutions he always chose from to solve a problem. Kick it's ass, or make love to it. What's your choice JR?

How freakin many casinos do we need, anyway? Even the first Linden sponsored one is a dismal failure, thanks to serious design flaws and a stunning lack of events. Since jrenslow has managed to make himself unpopular even in Jessie, I wouldnt hope for too much. From: someone Originally posted by Cubey Terra Hello. I just want to get feedback on something.
