What happened to that? Life was good. The forums were pleasant to read. But no, I think there is some kind of Prokofy addiction going on in here. You just have to talk about him. Shared enmity is a powerful force. When someone steps up to the mound wearing the asshat, and pitching insults everywhere it becomes nearly impossible for some people not to loathe the pitcher. I'll admit: I am a weak, weak person. Even during the shunning, I sat there gnashing my teeth every time I saw his handiwork quoted. Unfortunately, it's futile. He just stumbles from one ridiculous post to another with out ever realizing what's wrong. You're right, though. The relative quiet was good. |

I consider mankinds ability to come together as a group to be a major strength. Most things have negative as well as positive aspects and that thing we call "group mentality" is a very ugly aspect of social behavior. It provides a supportive cover for actions and words by individual members which they themselves would likely find unacceptable, if not be outright appalled by, in other circumstances.
