A Special Message Regarding Cristiano Midnight's B-Day Party!

To My Dearest Cristiano--

I have to admit that I'm at a loss for words at the moment. Of course I'd like to wish you a happy birthday sweetie, but that just doesn't seem to suffice. What else could you possibly say to someone that has touched your life and the lives of others so profoundly with their kindness and generosity? There is a special uniqueness about you Cristiano which radiates from you and draws others in. It's more than just your intellectuality and your charasmatic witty charm. It's the way that you so freely and genuinely open your heart to others which makes them seek you out. You truly are a beautiful soul and I am honored that you have chosen me to spend another year by your side. Tu es mi compañero del alma...te amo Cristiano.

To Spellbound --

A special thanks goes out to Spellbound for orchestrating Cristiano's birthday party last evening. Within less than a week Baccara Rhodes and her awesome Spellbound team turned Mavericks into a tropical hawaiian paradise. There were costumes there (courtesy of Fey Brightwillow), edible food for the occasion, fireworks in Cristiano's honor and even a hawaiian hula animation for our guests to enjoy. Thank you for making the gathering into such a dreamy event...no one can top the talent of Spellbound. I wanted to mention each team member of spellbound individually, but lack of sleep these past few days keeps me from remembering their names *blush* Please forgive but your talents were not gone unnoticed!

To Gina Vogel & Billy Madison--

Thanks to the awesome and lustrous DJ, Gina Vogel for hosting the event. Her humor and playful demeanor through the evening was very much welcomed. Great radio persona Gina, keep up the good work!
Billy, once again, thank you so much for coming through with providing the server for Gina's broadcast. Without you stepping up to the plate, we wouldn't have been able to provide our guests with a DJ. I'm truly grateful and appreciative.

To Daynon Valentino--

You know someone is truly your friend when they are there for you not only during good times but horrible ones as well. During the beginning of the event we were having a bit of a crises and Daynon was there to contact guests and remind them of the event and teleport them to the location, to help keep me grounded, and became my mediator with Gina Vogel and the guests during technical difficulties. The event wouldn't have been as seamless as it was without him and for that I am truly grateful. Thank you Day

To the Guests--

Thanks to everyone that came to help in celebrating Cristiano's birthday. He really enjoyed himself and was floored by the number of people that were there By sharing in the event last evening, you showed your friendship and support and it was very much appreciated. Thank you once again, and I hope you had a wonderful time..I surely did. .

Yeah, me too! I always seem to miss the good stuff. But, the coco loco drink that Cris sent was a nice consolation prize -- even if it was a bit frilly for my tastes.

Oh it was great! Great GREAT great! everything was so pretty! I got to meet some of the people that hates me from the forums (who doest?) and i was thrilled about that! I also had a great time the music was popping and for me to say they had great decorations would surely be an understatement. No problem Taeja about the server, I would like to take all the credit but truth be known i rent mine from aaron levy as most of you know i was having technical difficultys getting gina setup with it.. i imed this guy and not even 2 minutes later i got an instant message and he imed me back from out of world with a message saying he got the PAGE (how does this guy link his pager so when he gets an email it goes off?) and that he was on a date with his wife but stopped at kinko's to log in and check the problem.. not even 5 min later it was all fixed.. wtf kind of service is that? Work before wife? im sure she loves you aaron lol i know i do. Anyway I want to thank you guys for the invite (i had to pay to get a invite) it was really special!

I did have one complaint. I spent 3 weeks makeing cris's present, a birthday cake and when i asked taeja where to put it she told me..just give it directly to him it doesnt match the theme.
I lost my wife to this cake, she took the kids and the car and i was told it was too ugly for the likes of the event =(

Me too, and thanks for inviting me - had a packet of RL family birthdays to celebrate at a dinner party, but wish I could have joined in!

Sorry I missed it too, though I didn't receive an invitation. I guess I could have crashed the party, but I wasn't around SL at the time I think.

I'm afraid I was one of those for whom the timezones didn't fall correctly, and I was very disappointed to miss the party.

Had it been possible, I would have loved to have been there. Cristiano, you are one of the special people of sl, one of those outstanding individuals whose presence is felt throughout the world, and who really make a difference for the good. I hope you had a great day, and I wish you well for the future.

I'm so sorry that I missed the festivities! I fall asleep WAY too early these days! Happy Birthday, Cristiano.....you know I love ya! Taeja's talent for putting together parties is legendary and I am kicking myself for missing yet another awesome event!

I wanted to take a moment to publicly thank my girlfriend and partner, Taeja Diaz, for putting on such an amazing party for me. The amount of work you put into making sure my birthday was special, both in RL and in SL, is something I will never forget. I am a very lucky man to have someone love me enough to pull out all the stops to give me a special day. I love you baby.

To all those who helped Taeja with the party, namely the endlessly amazing Spellbound group, you certainly know how to make someone feel loved. The party was spectacular, and one of the highlights of all my time in Second Life. So many people helped to make the night something unforgettable, including all the people who stopped by to celebrate with us. Thank you again for everything - friendship is a gift, and I am very blessed.

The animated food (cake and pork sandwich) was really a nice touch. Being someone who has programmed a lot of animated objects, I was impressed by their high quality.

I don't really have much else to say. In fact the primary reason that I posted this is to let people know that I was there. It's not easy being on the brink of infamy and fame. I have to balance carefully between being an angel like Cristiano and a demon like Prokofy. I suppose this is an attempt to move me in the direction of Cristiano, by letting people know I was at the cool-kid's party. Yet by turning this post into a selfish self analysis instead of talking about the party, I'm leaning in the direction of Prokofy. It's all about balance.
