Since this is a Topic and a concern, how are you Merchants doing now that Secondlife Policy has changed? Has it effected the Economy regarding your sales?

No think about it. I track all sales for location and over time. Our sales are slightly up in total $L value and definately up in volume of items.
I am however making a greater effort to rate new people. And I hired my first model this month paying $L as well as clothes. Also hired DoveVogue to do a show for us (which went very well btw). So, not only are our sales up, but I feel like we are making a positive impact on other's income. Surreal |

My sales have actually gone UP significantly. I also did a brand redesign at about the same time, so who knows what's causing the effect.

I also did a brand redesign at about the same time, so who knows what's causing the effect. -Flip Yeah, it's hard to tell in SL what actually accounts for good sales and bad sales. As for me, I recently started a new line of skins just before the changes, including male skins, and it's been pretty good lately. Which is funny, because a large number of people I've spoken with have been mourning the fact that they can't get by on their stipend. Also, when I do go out and shop, there are just as many people out and about shopping as there were before. _____________________

Honestly, my sales have gone down, as far as I can tell. It may not be totally related to the economic changes, though. A bunch of places where I had my lotto vendor closed -- of course, that itself could be due to the changes...*shrug*

My sales were horrible before, and they're still horrible.
Luckily, I don't really care how much I sell... my rent at Centerville Mall is pretty low, and the very first sale I made there paid it for the 2 months I took the outside stall. Everything after that was gravy. The sales are few and far between, but that's cool with me. I just have a few items that I thought a few people might enjoy. Would I like more sales? Sure, who wouldn't? But as long as I'm not actually losing money doing it, I'm happy. _____________________

Sales of my virtual drugs invented by the virtual cia have not dropped. But thats probably because of the addictiveness of e-Crack. And our new product line, e-Smack.
