i use a mac and 1.5.12 will not run on my comp. once it downloads it says mounting failed, has anyone else had this problem, if so please let me know what you did to correct it

Hank - have you deleted everything in the cache and tried it?
I have an iMac and it is working for me (with the exception that it takes 15 to 30 minutes to actually log in).

1.5.12 Not Working on Mac

I run a Big Mac - G5 Dual 2.0 with all the bells and whistles, including the ATI 256 Radeon Pro Mac Edition card. Bottom line, the new version d/l'd, mounted, installed and runs fine.
Try a Finder <Find>... Search for <Second> or <Second Life>...make sure the Visibility is set to <Invisilbe and Invisible Items>
Delete ALL Second Life files and folders, restart computer, and try d/l'g new version and install.
I have a friend that runs SL on his Power Book, and he has had occasional performance problems, but new version SL mounted, installed and runs for him.
