I'm very curious about the auction results. Is there any reason the results cannot be seen? I mean if the whole process is public then why are the results not public too?

Last I saw the shirt it was at US$ 126.00 and that was with 13 hours left.

Gotta admit I'm rather curious too...
When I last looked it was Bob "The Builder" with a bid of $145.00 & a little over a hour left on the shirt.

The land in Stillman... which although I didnt see it... just cant imagine it could be worth what it was going for 7500 L$ at the time. I really hope this is not an indication of how high future bids on land will be.

Guess we'll see... welcome to the age of the auction everyone!

Linden dollar auctions will be high at first, as us lifetimers with a wad of cash to burn bid on them... as more money is sucked out of the economy, the auctions should calm down :P

Ezhar Fairlight won the land auction (for the plot in Stillman) with (as I recall) a bid of L$8,000. Last I saw, Bob Bunderfeld was still in the lead for the shirt with a bid of $145 and less than 30 minutes to go.

You people have way too much money. $145 for a stupid tee? I have some land on the moon I want to sell you.

Geez, if people are willing to pay that much for a shirt LL should sell have started selling the things.

BTW

WTF is C3PO supposed to be USEFUL for anyway, besides whining? Stupid piece of scrap metal would be more useful recycled as a toaster. But even that would suck, because who would want to listen to a whining wussy toaster? Is he gold plated? If that's the case he should just be melted down into gold ingots. Help the economy some, and stop being so damn useless you stupid bucket of bolts! R2 is 1,000 times more useful than your tin man ass, and he's shaped like a salt and pepper shaker FFS!

I won the Shirt. Since I am a collector of Game Memorabilia, I felt this shirt would be a good addition to my collection.

Since I began Beta Testing games, over 8 years ago now, I have collected articles from every Beta Test. My best article was to get a complete Asheron's Call copy that was signed by every member of the Dev. Team.

Now, I hope I can get every member of LL Dev. Team to sign the Shirt :)

Search for " " (just a blank space WITHOUT THE QUOTES) and select the checkbox under it. You'll get all the past auctions with the bid amounts. ;) Though yeah, they should probably make it so we can get to that data without sneaking into it. :D

That's like 10 times what the land is actually worth.

It may be ten times what the land would cost if purchased from "public", but L$8000 is, by definition, exactly what that land is worth right now.
