I have a friend who is desperately wants to play SL, but the only card he has access too is a Discover Card, My question is why doesnt SL accept them? I really want him to play =(

Bowser,

I doubt this is the first time your friend has run into acceptance issues with Discover. There are alot of places that flatly refuse to allow payment with that card. It seems to be gaining acceptance, slowly, but maybe your friend should get a different card. Try Visa/MC/AMEX! I'll bet that if they could get a Discover card, they could get one of those..

Well he is a college student, and for him to get that card his parents are the cosigners. He can't exactly ask them for a visa so he can play SL.

I just want to know WHY, DC isnt accepted, doesnt make sense

Well.. years ago when I worked in the retail industry, Discover was kind of the dirty step child, as far as credit cards go. Hardly anyone took them, and when I inquired with management about it, the only answer I ever got was because they were owned by Sears.

Also, Discover card is US-only. Go into Canada, they've never HEARD of Discover card! Discover simply isn't accepted many places....did you tell your friend about paybycash.com?
