Is there a way I can lock the camera from being animated? I really hate when I accidetally animate it when I'm trying to preview an animation for SL.

I haven't figured it out yet but I sure hope so! It's so damn annoying!

Ah, go into the camera properties window and select the second tab then uncheck the second box. I suppose if you look for anything long enough you'll find it... but It took 30 minutes I could have used for animating... lol

Yay!!! Why having camera animation enabled as the default is beyond my limited powers of understanding, hehe.

I imagine because the default is rendering motion. All the people who use Poser for non SL applications would be asking "How do I turn on Camera animations?" well, I think they would at least.

mostly in non SL uses...Poser is either used in a combination of model/camera animation...or the bvh and model are exported...to something like Vue d'Esprit....therefore the default in Poser is a free cam.

You can lock cam and model into place to create the animations.

Also, on the left where it has all the camera positions. If you look at the top there's right hand, head, and left hand cameras. On the left of the head there's a little key, click it so it turns red. When it's red the camera won't move.

Yep, it's just bloody annoying for people used to a typical 3d animation app where the viewports are simply viewports and there's a seperate camera for animating the view. Having any of the default view cameras animate if you move them on a frame other than 0 is just, well... stupid :D
