Hello folks! I'm announcing UGCC, the Universal Gift Card Company. I've noticed many stores in SL selling gift certificates for their stores, which I thought was a great idea! I've decided to take it a step further, and sell gift cards which are useable at MANY stores.

How to use the UGCC Gift Cards:

-Purchase a card from any participating retailer in Second Life.

-Either give to someone or use for yourself.

-Once you're in possession of a card, shop like you would normally in Second Life.

-Drop the card on any UGCC Card Reader machine (can be found at any participating store in Second Life).

-If you want to check the card's balance, say "balance" (without quotes).

-If you want to withdraw money from the card, say "Pay $xx" (without quotes; replace xx with a value that is less than or equal to the card's balance.)

Z.O's Fashion and Sundries in Dore
Beryl Greenacre's Store in Tan

The gift cards are available in $25, $50, $100, $200 and $500 values. You can check the value by looking at the card's top left corner, or by looking at the card's description.

If you own a store and you'd like to accept these gift cards, please contact me in world.

Ahh.. the beauty of the creative mind. James steps onto my tent platform in in Lime today... sees my gift certificates and says.. I have an Idea! I say what is it? He says... A Secret! then scampers away, hunched shoulders, pinky to mouth...

Then this is born.. and it is a brilliant idea in my eyes! Excellent work James!! :)

Oh, and by the way James, you already know that I want to participate so you can add my name to the list. I should be in game either later tonight, or most of the day tomorrow. :cool:

Gift cards available for purchase next to any of the machines that are in the stores in the list above! :)

You should be able to keep the gift card inside a box, yes. Just take it out to use it.

Just so everyone knows, I've changed the look of the cards, they're now green! For those that purchased blue cards, those cards will still be accepted, but blue cards are no longer for sale at any locations.

Also, please IM me if you have any interest in having your store accept these cards! :)
