Ok, I bought a few outfits in a certain store.... 3, 4 boxes from vendors

In your mark get set go!!!!!!!

---------> Finds them all over the inventory fighting lag moving and searching, searches by date.. there they are right on top of my 1000 objects .....

---------> Drags carefully fighting lag of course to the ground of the store where you bought the boxes... well why not!! I want to see and try on what I just bought!!!

----------> Drags 1 box.. well.. usually since I am there I just drag the 3 boxes....Do it all right there...

----------> Creates a nice folder *New Folder* Renames it... (So I remember for next time)

----------> Or creates 2 more folders... (well depends how I organize the folders)

----------> right click on my purchased... the box!!

Where did my box go???????? where are my boxes!!!

Times UP!!! Autoreturn

YOU HAVE ONE MINUTE TO OPEN YOUR PURCHASE....

I don't want to sound like everything bothers me... hehehe... but why do some stores give the buyer a little more time to do this?

Am I the only one? Maybe I guess...

How about 5 minutes, how about 10??? hehehe

Gosh!! you just got to love the box opening system we have here at SL...

Ick, that sounds frustrating, yeah. I sure hope the auto-return got it back to youm and not the vendor owner. :(

1 minute does seem a bit short for auto-return. I mean, I can understand that storekeepers want to keep the property clean of unwanted primage. But really, why bother allowing people to rez on your land at all if they can't complete the tasks that they rezzed the item in the first place for?

I wonder if its that way at mine, I'll have to check. I thought I put it at 30, or perhaps, 10.

A lot of people have been upping autoreturn to one minute for a very good reason, however. There is a bug in the order objects are returned. This can allow a griefer to rez a ton of objects. Typically, they should be returned first if you go over the limit.

However, because of the bug, it will often return the land owner / groups objects BEFORE the non-land owner or grouped objects. Nasty little bug.

There's always the tried and true technique of attaching boxes to your head, as well.

Ummm why dont you attach the box to like... your left hand, right pec, left lower leg... or some other such location... then remove the contents??

No auto return, no rez...

There is a reason shoppers still put boxes on their heads, and to think that newbie skill would come in handy! =p

If the creator of the 'box' the goods come in attaches it to their right hand for example, then puts it in a vendor and someone buys it. Will the box attach to their right hand if they 'wear/attach' it?

Yes - just like jewelery and hair attach to the right place.

*wonders if her auto-return time is still set at the right time*

I bought some more land not too long ago. I'll have to check it out and see if joining the plots didn't screw with the time interval. I usually leave an ample amount of time for people.

I must confess that The Sex Girls Shop has the return time unset because we have used all of our prims up on our little 512 lot. We expect our customers to put their boxes on their heads:)
