Hey, he had a long life filled with great things.....his work is so good it will live on throughout the ages and he banged Marilyn Monroe.

The sad thing is very few men can hope to accomplish 1/4 of what he did in his life.

Seeing as Marilyn was cremated I think it'd be a little hard to dispute :p

That is a very popular misconception....Marilyn Monroe wasn't cremated.

http://www.cemeteryguide.com/monroe.html

it is also rumored that Joe Dimaggio had the the funeral director open her coffin before internment so he could see her one last time.....

Huh. You'd think I'd know better, wouldn't you, seeing as I've actually been to her grave :p

Well, I guess not!

I've been a huge fan of Arthur Miller ever since I played Biff Loman in a community theater's production of "Death of a Salesman".

Its too bad that he's not as widely known as he should be. Before today, I'd be surprised if 50% of Americans could have told you who he is.

Well you didn't have a peek inside so ...

Actually many people believe she was cremated....I think for two reasons one being Jane Mansfield who was cremated and I think an actor named Clive James made a remark to the effect that after seeing Marilyn at her funeral he would rather be cremated.

Hell 50% of Americans can't tell you who most American political figures are including the president.

Another reason would be that she was mentioned in a Monty Python sketch that assumed she'd been cremated (they made a joke about how Marilyn Monroe had been in a scene, except nobody saw her, except that she was technically in the scene, because of the ashes in the ashtray, etc).
