Hello all.... this is just to announce there'll be a discussion meeting tomorrow evening (Sunday 11/21, 8 pm game time) for anyone interested in creating a national park in the Hidden Lakes area. Anyone who has ideas or would like to contribute in some way is encouraged to come... it'll be at the Waterhead telehub stage.

Points for discussion include, how would a park be supported and managed? How much land would we like for this to include? How many people would be willing to help with this project? A previous thread has already mentioned having a group of Park Rangers, and a separate group for Friends of the Park, who might be willing to create appropriate builds or contribute in other ways. There have been activities mentioned such as hiking trails, rock climbing, and camping. All of these could be permanently set up, with equipment rental/purchase, or land access passes for camping spots.

This is a really beautiful area, and it deserves to be preserved in some way so that everyone can enjoy it in its original, unspoiled state. If you agree, come join the discussion... help protect this area from malls, clubs, and other huge commercial builds. Hope to see everyone there!
