Project Live2Give - for people dealing with cerebral palsy and similar conditions

Hi.

I'd like to publically announce a project called "Live2Give." It's a project in Second Life for people dealing with cerebral palsy and similar conditions (ALS, paralysis, etc.).

I saw a film last night at Stoke Film Theatre. It was called "Inside I'm Dancing". I recommend it to anyone interested in the above issues.

i'll probably post in the forums a bit later on this, but just wanted everyone to know that the live2give project which encompasses a new sl group, a public island, and the new blog were created to facilitate wilde cunningham's sl and internet presence, with hopes that others with simular challenges will find them faster and have a support network where in to land. the crew which plays wilde has from the inception wanted to reach out to others both to educate them about people with disabilities as well as be a safe place for those who are physically challenged to link up. second life has so much to offer people whom this life shuts out or forgets.

much appreciation comes from all the players of wilde cunningham, as well as from myself to john prototype whose graciously supported them in this endeavor making all the above possible. they have had a chance to meet with him in real life and consider him a new found trustworthy friend.

please check out the live2give blog, and feel free to pass it along to others. part of its purpose was to be able to show folks even outside of sl what happens there. you will find a full list of all their inworld writings and some new things as well.

FYI, the sim Live2Give is currently closed to visitors. I apologize if anyone tried visiting and got bumped out.

We are doing some terraforming, and since the ability to edit land gives us the (cough cough) "feature" whereby anyone flying by can edit all your land....well, we're keeping the place closed until we're done moving around the dirt
