The day after Thanksgiving in the US is traditionally the first day of the holiday shopping season. Retailers have made a habit of putting out great deals on that day to get people in the stores. It is referred to as Black Friday.
Since most of these sales start at 5-6am, you will need to plan ahead. For a compilation of all of the major stores Black Friday deals, head on over to http://www.bf2004.net/.
I will be at the CompUSA in Tustin, CA at 6am. If you have an older computer and can't afford a good video card, they have an Nvidia 5200 128mb AGP or PCI for $29 after rebate that morning.
Edit: I totally missed Lordfly's thread here about BF etiquette, or else I would have put this there. Sorry about that.
