Please return the missing bench to the Welcome Area. I need it there so I can jump back and forth from bench to bench. Thanks.

This would be a great new feature to add to Second Life. Actually, I find it funneh there isn't more seating -- people are always standing around with the tendency to look awkward!

I saw Jill Linden walking away from the Welcome Area one day with large bench shaped bulge in her pants... read into that as you will!
The missing bench is the one on the right side (if entering from telepads), infront of the spinning SL hand there. Somewhat accross from the one on the left.
I too wish the return of the bench!

From: Zuzi Martinez every time i go to the welcome area there's a flock of people perched on the railings like birds. That's cos sitting on the benches causes about 97% of peoples feet to disappear underground. Most uncomfortable if you ask me. We need bigger benches!

Test Results indicate....

There is no trace at all that the bench ever existed, no depressions in the dirt or variations in the grass's growth pattern. A realistic simulation of this object's surroundings would leave some evidence of it's recent existence, but Second Life's simulation shows nothing even under the most detailed examination. I am thus sadly forced to report that Second Life has performed very poorly on this Bench Mark Test.

From: SuezanneC Baskerville ...this Bench Mark Test. *winces with funnypain* To be honest. I keep getting tempted to bring my own benches with me when that happens. Or maybe attaching a stool to my ass with a proper sitting pose.

I deny any knowledge of the missing bench. I did however replace it. Note that this action says nothing of my guilt or innocence regarding this incident.

It's the bench, it's the bench, the bench is back.

The bench has been restored to it's rightful place, I can jump back and forth bench to bench like people are meant to do.
