Map/Beacon quirkiness

Has anyone else noticed using the beacon to find places/people isn't working quite right? If I set up the red beacon and then use the mouse and move the map view (in the big map) it loses the red beacon about 2/3rds of the time. If I set up the red beacon and close the big map and turn in world to go to the beacon it disappears 2/3rds of the time. Has anyone else noticed this?  |

Yeah, it seems to sometime happens when someone on your Calling Card list logs on.

I have also noticed if I select a name on my calling card list on the big map, it doesn't always stick if I open another screen for a moment. I come back and it has reset it self to 'calling card'.

I did a test.. last night
Anytime someone logs on from your list. The tracker pillar disappears.. also most of the time when you teleport it happens too..
Also some of the yellow dots are not showing up where they should be..

I wonder if anyone's tried this:
- Find person with Calling Card on map
- Re-mark the spot manually by clicking nearby
- See if the landmark disappears
If it doesn't disappear, then I'd definitely accuse the buddy login event for somehow resetting the landmark =)
