I was one of the lucky ones that was able to join LL at the GDC this week. It is different when you get to go behind the scenes.

Hanging with the Lindens at Varnish was amazing, I give my congrats to the people who put it together. The party went off without a hitch as far as I know, and 1.6 looked awesome on the big screen. I was very impressed at how down to earth, friendly, funny, and in love with SL these people were. I heard plenty of stories of some of these people working full-time at the office, then jumping in SL for fun when they got home. I have full faith in SL as a product, and LL as a company, and I realize we are seeing a company flourish.

I got to shake Phillip Rosedale's hand, grab a picture, and chat some smalltalk. I just wanted to say thanks to Phillip.....to everyone else, I just wanted to say that this guy is someone that deserves our respect. I think he is the major pillar in why Linden Labs is the company they are, and a big reason this product is and will continue to be successful. Aw shucks....what a great guy.
