Hey, all. A while back I posted here about how Im facing a traffic ticket on my motorbikey. Continuing story: I got a court date on Apr 30. The ticket is $831 if I lose! D'OH! WISH ME LUCK!

The ticket is totally bogus. The cop got me for 1) improper registration. 2) no insurance 3) violating a city ordinance.

IN REPLY:
1) My registration is good. 2) I dont need insurance on my lil "hog." Its only 50cc! BWA! 3) there is no such ordinance.

I think the officer was just havin a bad day. Unfortunately, I gotta go to court and say that. lol

I think I can get the whole ticket thrown out. In my opinion, it was an improper (illlegal) stop. I wasnt commiting any real moving violations. The cop just made some shit up! BWA!

$831? Damn, that's pretty steep for a so-called "minor" offense. In 22 years of licensed driving in MD, I have collected 4 tickets while driving a CAR, and they totalled about $200. I'd have to nearly kill someone to get a $800 ticket here. Good luck.
