In J. Gomez's post in the Scripting Tips forum he reports that llPizza is now a valid function. and was met with a call for a function called llRaiseMyKids. My response is as follows.
Shocked, Disgusted, and Disappointed
n Jeffrey's flippant response to the request for a "llRaiseMyKids(list kids) " he produces a link about TV sets but makes no mention whatsoever of video game consoles or the much more important broadband internet connection and 20 different chat programs such as the venerable AOL IM, MS Messenger, Trillian, etc. Also vital in having electronics keep the children busy every minute of the day are file sharing programs such Kazaa plus plus. K++ is especially valuable because it is not only used to share copyrighted programs without permission but is itself a hacked version of a copyrighted filesharing program, the use of which helps instill a healthy sense of irony in the child and helps the to appreciate the humor in recursive acronyms like GNU and thus helps lead them toward a happy geeky lifestyle freed from the contraints not only of parental restriction but of any human interactions whatsoever.
And of course to even suggest the use of electronic media as a substitute for parental guidance without mentioning the many fine sources of sexual information available, many of which are so helpful they will install themselves as the homepage for you web browser without they slightest effort on your part, really shortchanges the efforts of the many programmers.... I'm sorry, the medication is starting to take effect now and I can't remember what I was writing about.
