The Slate Neighborhood Association will be meeting today, Monday, December 8, at 2:00PM PST at the Slate Community Store.

This meeting will touch on the following subjects:

1. Welcome to the Neighborhood to our new Residents.
2. Ideas for Committee's and assigning of Committee
Members if such Committee's are enacted.
3. Slate Boat Tours. When can we start and what's left
to be finished.
4. Community Outreach to our Neighbors in Olive.
5. Ideas to bring Tourists to Slate
6. Adding more residents? Can we support more?

I hope everyone can find the time to attend this meeting. If you are unable to attend this meeting, please send a Notecard to myself that contains your thoughts on the specific points in the Agenda or thoughts on other matters you would like to bring up, and I will be happy to make your voice known to all other residents in attendance.

I look forward to seeing everyone this afternoon/evening to discuss the future of our wonderful community of Slate.

is it okay for an olive neighbor to attend your meeting if i promise to sit in a corner and be quiet. i'm very interested in what y'all are doing in slate and would like to see how your meetings are conducted.

We run open meetings and anyone can attend. Although, recognition for comment will go to Slate Residents first, and then to other attendee's as time permits.

What ever happened to all those giant trees? They were great.

Unfortunately I was the only person that had the time to make the meeting.

No problem, here's the minutes of the short meeting:

Call to Order

Question put to the floor:

Should all residents of Slate pay Bob Bunderfeld a $1,000,000 donation?

The question passed without comment.

The meeting was then adjourned.

LOL

Just kidding :) Unfortunately it's very difficult to find a time when everyone is available. I'm sure yesterday was just one of those days. Kenichi Chen has taken upon the role of finding a new meeting time that will be able to accomodate most of the Slate Residents. If you are interested in attending the meeting, please contact Kenichi Chen and let him know when you would be available for such a meeting.

Thanks!
