I am playing the trial version and this game is amazing! Having said that I set my resolution to 1600x1200 and my monitor is blanked out (likely conflicting with my monitor refresh rate). All I would like to do is reset my resolution to 1280x1024 but cannot, since I can't see, hehe. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Once you load the game, try hitting ALT-Enter to switch to windowed mode then change your preferences. There might be an INI someplace that'll let you adjust this too.

So you set your screen resolution to 1200x1600 using Windows, and you can't see anything when SL starts running? If that's it, maybe you can set your screen resolution to something like 600x800 using Windows, then then start SL again. Then set SL to run in windowed mode using the Preferences dialog (Display tab).

Thanks for your help guys, I solved my problem by simply reinstalling since it's such a small download. Hopefully someone else finds this post usefull if they run into a similar problem. Oh and I now run in windows mode to multi task and such. This game is simply amazing I really enjoy seeing other peoples creativity with their land and structures!
