Land bouncers?

I have seen some people using bouncer scripts to keep people off their land. Is this legal? What is the limitation to this?

Playing around with some land options I discovered the option to turn on pvp damage on my land. If somebody turns on pvp and installs a rocket launcher on his land and shoots down everybody who tries to cross it, would that be a TOS violation?

What is the difference between bouncer scripts and rocket launchers?

If I don't want people fly up to my private floating castle what am I allowed to do and what not?

In general, a bouncer script should not interfere with normal travel through the world. Specifically, the activation volume should cover the minimum space possible, and it should not have any effect on avatars not over your land.

If you want to keep people away from a private castle, I recommend placing the castle well above the normal flight path -- a minimum altitude of 250 meters would be good.

Well, if they're not boxing people into a corner (ie, only path from sim a to b), area of effect is reasonable (ie 20-30 meters above the height of the land) and its specifically over their land (which happens to be the only way it can work) there are no specific TOS regulations that prohibit it. In effect, they have created the LSL version of the red bars...

While its sociallty frowned apon, like no-access land, not much one can say or do.
