Since so many cant play SL at work, what (if anything) do you play?
I just found this work safe game: Fall of Nations. Its a (beta) ultra simple war game that wont eat up all of your time. This link gives me credit for you (as my minion). This one doesnt _____________________

With that said, Fall of Nations is kind of kewl. I'm "VinceSincere" there, and have already built myself up 1251 in the Rankings in the first 18 hours or so. I'm holding back right now to make a "gold run" so I can build myself a structure or 2 later today. I've been playing similar online games for nearly 20 years now. Back in the days when my online activities consisted of connecting to various BBS systems at 2400 baud and I used relay mail (48+ hours sometimes for msg roundtrip) for e-communication, a lot of these BBS systems had similar games, where you'd build various armies and whack it out with each other. The only one I remember well is one called "Trade Wars", where you built freighters and fighters and swooshed around the galaxy trying to make a buck while dodging other's who wanted to rob you. Anyway... If you have any tactical or strategic advice to share about Fall of Nations, Misnomer, I'm all ears. - Ace _____________________

Im finding that if you run up like you (and I) did that there isnt as much gold in the mid ranks. If I had it to do over, I would have built structures and purchased upgrades early wth a small army... then build up the army.

Owwwww god no it's the evil curse of the internet, a browser based game!!!! Spare me!!!! I clicked on it and accidentally spent five seconds of my life at a browser based game website!!!! Nooooooooo I want my five seconds back!

WTF is C3PO supposed to be USEFUL for anyway, besides whining? Stupid piece of scrap metal would be more useful recycled as a toaster. But even that would suck, because who would want to listen to a whining wussy toaster? Is he gold plated? If that's the case he should just be melted down into gold ingots. Help the economy some, and stop being so damn useless you stupid bucket of bolts! R2 is 1,000 times more useful than your tin man ass, and he's shaped like a salt and pepper shaker FFS! |
