Ask Cris or Nolan. I'm addicted. :)

And a Shaman who can really hoo doo some voo-doo. :)

No fighting, no anger, no pettiness -- just some plain ol' fun and laughter.

My hubby is addicted to it as well Lynn. He plays a female warlock undead.. hmm.. Level 36 now I think. It looks like a ton of fun, but I won't touch it else SL wouldn't see me for a *long long* time. :p

I have never seen such a more beautiful, graphically detailed world where when you swim underwater -- you "see" as if you are underwater. I'm a Tauren, in the beautiful Barrens of red, gold, brown, yellow and lush green oasises along the way.

And it's "fun" -- playing on a PVP server, I didn't know what it meant until someone from the "other side" attacked me. Wow. Took me by surprise that you can just "attack" someone, but I soon got the hang of it. I'm the polite one, if the other side is lower than I, there is no attack from me unless they start; if they are equal or slightly higher than me -- then it's "all fair in love and war." Friends and I laughed last night as we chased two warriors and a priest for at least an hour all around the forest. :)

It's just simply a beautiful, surrounding and enticing world. Not to mention, I can kick a$$ if I need to. :)

Yep. The graphics are incredible. And the water freaks me out. haha.. I love watching him play. I know all too well I would love that game, especially on the PVP server. I just don't have time for two online games right now, and I'm enjoying SL too much to give it up. :(

About $50 for the initial game, then like $10 or so a month. There are over 20 servers (sometimes called shards) to play on, with the ability to create about 10 characters per server.

It looks to me like they combined the best of the offline warcraft games, with the best parts of Everquest, Anarchy Online, and Dark Ages of Camalot. :)

I honestly had to laugh out loud the other day.

They (WoW) have developed an in-house auction house for individuals to sell those items they have either a) created with their talents and/or b) have received doing quests. It's more or less like a flea market -- seven days a week.

Seems that a few of the flirty female trolls decided to spice up the auctions.

There was dancing, troll semi-nudity... basically a Warcraft stripper's club.

I've been waiting for the first "WoW Strip Club" to open -- and I guess it's found a home.

250K users on at least 88 servers. Most servers are based upon your timezone to help insure good response time. The only time I lag is when we are in the instance dungeon's with about 5 creatures all getting pounded at one time. Other than that, when I run -- it's fast, smooth; when I fly -- it's fast and smooth.

Character creation is 20 for $15 a month -- you can have multiples on different servers so that you can play with friends; although most of us create one or two characters to "store" those special and unique quest items so that we can sell them at the auction later. I gave up being the druid when I found the shaman. It's a beautiful place, smooth interface, friendly people, and just simply a lot of fun.
