Just bumping this since doesnt seem to have got the reading that I believe it deserves.

Just to be explicit, this is something like SecondLife, but available OpenSource (as far as I understand) and with scripting in a Java-based language.

Havent downloaded it yet to check out to what extent this is the case, but I reckon that should interest one or two people here...
