So it just took me 3 minutes to get into SL because of this new Que-ing login system. Imagine how bad it's going to be on a busy night, and then what if you crash and have to re-log??? UGH!!

Is this temporary?

What bothers me is that I turn off local lighting when I'm in a laggy place... this requires me to log off and back on... and that can take a few minutes...
I dont mind a 1 time wait of 3 minutes... some games take that long to load.
But I hate to wait 3 minutes every time I log off and back on...

This is a temporary problem. Hopefully it will be fixed or improved early this week. Sorry for the inconvenience.

No Haney, with all due respect it's a temporary solution to the problem of Second Life not being scaleable and finally having a blue fit because of the load (it's been a long time coming but you can't paper over the cracks no more it would appear as it's turned around, given you a two finger salute and said it's had enough). Please don't pretend otherwise. Philip has always said that SL's architecture is scaleable - do any of you actually believe that any more? The system has a single point of failure that fails with utter regularity - scaleable it most certainly is not in its current incarnation.
