Yep, as the election looms large I find myself with less and less energy at the end
of the work day... At the end of the week there are more an more RL projects
that remain in limbo....
Over the past week I've found myself hanging out in SL less and less... and when
I do I find myself regretting it when I trudge through my next day at work.
And so, without further ado, I'm taking an extended break from Second Life.
I'll log in every couple of days to check up on things and respond to whatever IM's
are below the cap and take care of whatever minor business needs taking care of.
I'll still troll the forums from work during my lunch hour.....
But thats about it until further notice... Any projects I was working on are now officially 'on hold' and any unanswered solicitation can be taken as a 'No'.
I'll be back once real life settles down, my batteries are recharged, and I'm feeling less burnt out with life in general..

Siggy, sounds like a good idea.. i'm on the way back in from about a two month hiatus and am feeling recharged and vibrant again. it's a good thing and many seem to find it necessary at one point or another to do the same. may your rest be comparable to a lazy summer's day.. with a chilly glass of ice-cold lemonade.. daydreams floating by as you lay back in a hammock, gently rocking in a warm breeze. we'll be glad to have you back in full force when you're ready, but please take all the time you need before you get to that point. while SL is a very rewarding experience, it can also be one of the most mentally draining. Long Live Second Life! (just don't forget to unplug once every several months or so.. )
