Why do you hate me Regnar?
While I am for the idea of deleting our posts, I think deleting our threads might stifle creativity. People might delete threads just because someone disagreed with them. _____________________

There is a nifty little feature called th edit button, you can use that for now. Well it's a good idea, I know some forums have this, and I have used it.

You could always click on report the post to the moderator and tell them the situation .. possibly have it removed.

Go to edit, at the top of the screen you get the option to delete your post.

I used it about a week ago to delete a post that I wrote in sort of a tantrum mode. After posting it, I read it back, and deleted it immediatly.

If this board is like the others I've used, you can delete a post as long as there are no replies to it.

Is a post still yours after it's posted? Does it become public property?
Deleting of posts is just not a good idea, the forums are a database of info. What might seem useless to you in 4 months, may be very useful to a noob at that time. fen- _____________________

A thread doesnt belong to someone just because they start it. The individual posts belong to the individual users. You can edit your post to delete its entire contents if you wish. AFAIK the forums are fine as they are. What we really need instead is an ad forum to get rid of spam on the real ones.
Call it "User Announcements" or something. |

Regnar, you have to check the box at the left hand side before you click delete.

Or you can just post up a reply stating that the item(s) has been sold (in caps and red lettering if you wish to get your message through)
