- Telehubs and free teleports - New land properties - New object/clothing permissions - New full-size map. Excellent work, Linden Lab. - Reflective textures (oooh, shiny). Hate - Restrictions on where you can set "Home" (more on this later). - Removed object "Modify" permission - No more drop-downs on mini-map . I liked being able to track people/places w/o having to open a gigantic, screen-obscuring dialog.- Still crashing several times per hour. ![]() --- Okay, here's why I dislike the restrictions on where you can set "Home". I have an ATI card and I crash a lot. Previously, when I arrived somewhere I wanted to be for a while, like an event, I'd set that spot as "Home". That way, when I inevitably crashed, I'd reappear in that spot. "Last Location" is only saved when you log off properly and do not crash. Now, in 1.1, there's no way to make sure that I'm in the same spot when I relog. That means that if I crash during an event, I have to teleport and fly from the nearest TeleHub, which may not be nearby. It's a real pain, and I don't see why "Home" can't be any arbitrary spot. <End Of Rant> --- |

-free teleporting -skirts -new big map -particles -shiny and bumpy objects -running Hate -music and sounds take forever to load -crashing and lag has increased -flying is akward -the minimap is annoying ![]() -to invite someone to your group you gotta type out their name and suff instead of just right clicking and choosing invite in their profile -if someone bumps into you, an abuse window pops up. this may encourage a noob to report that person. It should pop up if that person is repeatedly bumped or something. |

Hate is such a strong word!
Love ----- - Telehubbies! - Flying. Move over Wright bros! - Running. - The fact that the giant, screen-obscuring map can be resized. - How avatars and prims morph when you change them. - Detail in terrian/water/trees. - Group enhancements except for.... Dislike ------- - The fact that only group officers can remove unwanted prims from group land. - How sounds cue up (I had 182 downloading clips yesterday, whee!) - The fact that people are so upset with all the bugs, but were so impatient to see 1.1 come out ASAP. ^.~ At least it's here, yay! _____________________

Vehicle fixes and all improvments made to LSL. Shineyness (when it works... another ATI victim) Better organization of prefs window. Objects traveling across sim borders have less of a complete mangling. Crossing sim borders more smoothly. Less lag around events. um... thats about it Hates Graphics crashes Graphics corruption Slow sound responce Slow Graphics responce Bulky huge-arse non-position-remembering map Almost useless 'miniMap' Inability to IM large groups of calling cards. Indifferences Running (too laggy on my end) Uh,,, thats really all I can think of... Oh yeah... ATI SUCKS! _____________________

Partical effects Shiney Bumps (but we need more) Vehicals (scripts) Group managment "Skirt" Mesh Teleporting closer, faster.... Map features Map overlays Hair / clothing wind effects Permissions Hate: Primitives that wont stay put or go where you tell them to Faster proformance (after cashing) Shiney Dosnt work on tranparancy (windows anyone? )Land deeding looses you all control and pruchase price becomes group funds without warning "Skirt mesh" top terminates in most people's chest instead of at waist line / hips, no ajustment for this. No mini map usage Map overlays revert automaticly upon close Brightness / Darkness bumps not working well (This is probably just a per texture issue, will do testing on this asap) Permissions (I like to know how things tick >_< and now I cant breakt them to find out hehe) Indifferent: Run - My AV runs like a girl lol Teleportation to hubs instead of desired location (I realy dont think this is going to work) |

I forgot to add, I too hate how prims jump around when I edit them now. It's so difficult to make them stay put and even selecting the texture often makes the prim move, even in a linked set.
Gwydeon, shiny surfaces work with transparency for me. Maybe it's a question of settings or video card. |
