Ok, ok, I know life is unfair and all that, but this seems to be an unusually cruel irony: Doctor diagnosed with disease he foughtIt's bad enough that this disease exists, but fate gives to a man who spent his life trying to help people with it? That's messed up. The next time I'm dealing with some daily "horror" like a leaky faucet or a traffic jam I'll remember to count my blessings.

Wow, that is so sad. Amazing though that he said, "But I've done more in my 56 years than most people have done in their whole life. I can't complain too much." Well, he is in my thoughts. Thanks for the article, sorta puts things in perspective doesn't it.
