I figured... there's a lot of people raging in the forums today, which I think is fine and fair enough--but out of curiosity, I'm wondering what will come of it. Every time something goes wrong in SL, there's a huge backlash--but no one ever leaves, to my knowledge. So, here we go, vote if you like, or post below with comments! Just try not to flame me, I'm really not trying to start trouble here, just trying to fulfill a curiosity. :)

Isn't it customary for a poll to include and question and answer or answers?

Not going anywhere. These things happen, water mains break, electricty goes out, and don't get me started on the f**king cable company. They never apologize to me, but you know, LL is honest with me and spends some hours I can only describe as s**tty keeping my GAME up.
Nah, my tribe and I are pretty happy here

I just wanted to click something...
It would be nice to be able to get into SL and see how some clothes turned out. I can't. I'll do something else. No big deal. It's still the best thing going, even with downtime.

Not that I've spewed any venom. I mostly stay away from the forums for the sake of my own sanity, and to avoid the drama. But since my job/addiction/booty calls/whatnot have been offline all day, I've been forum lurking. I'm not going anywhere. I have a home in SL, friends, a real life job. I've never yet met a linden I didn't like ( love you Bub ) and I seriously doubt they're sitting on their hands right now. As well as some of us are rocking in our computer chairs moaning and foaming at the mouth, I imagine at this point the employees of linden labs are probably doing the same. Anyone who's done live help can give you an inkling of what they must have to deal with every single day, let alone on a major issue like this. NOT that I'm happy about it. I'm TICKED about it. But I'm still not going anywhere. Not as long as the laws of physics keep applying to the constant electrical IV that is my computer.

Yesterday I took some time off work to play SL. It was down, so I spend the whole evening (pathetic 8 hrs) lurking on the forums, and I guess making a record of how many times can one try and log on to SL. Yes, I am addicted and I am not ashamed to admit it!!! Then I went to bed as SL was supposedly come on...and had nightmares of not being able to get in, lol. Now I am at work again, so it will be another 9 hrs till I can log back on. Nine more hours....I think I can make it...I think. And for the rest, nothing will change for me, as soon as I get in and see that everything is ok, I will be all happy.

At least your work has computers! I work at a radio station and the internet's so tightly blocked there that the forums don't work because they have "forums" in the address!

I am one of those dreaded new people that others always bitch about. Why do they bitch? Everyone was new at some point. *shrugs* I don't care though, I love SL and I will lurk in the forums until I can get back in. Yesterday I divided my time between checking the forums, trying to log into SL, and attempting to learn how to use PSP. Pretty full day if I do say so myself. And I even made a shirt, although it is somewhat deformed. LOL

Oh, and welcome to Second Life, Naeya I remember my first weeks here (a year and a half ago!) Just hang in there, people will ease up once you become a familiar face. Post lots in the forums and host some events if you can!
