What genre of music do you usually find yourself listening to (and enjoying it immensely)? p.s.: I know it's unfair to clump some genres together, because each one is so distinct and deserves a podium of its own, but hey, I can't have more than 10 choices on a poll. Don't mean to offend anyone

Classical, oldies, Motown, Queen, Thin Lizzy, easy jazz etc. In other words, although I clicked Classical, that's only part of my musical taste and i figured it wouldn't get too many votes.

Alexa You can vote on more than one, Alexa...Also thanks for letting me see that I completely forgot about Jazz! Maybe I could group Oldies and 70's together, hmm...

Alexa I clicked all that you listed - also I enjoy international/cultural music like Ghorwane of Mozambique and I absolutely love Ismael Lo. I also listen to a lot of Native American music like JoAnn Shenandoah, Carlos Nakai and Robert Miribal. .

I'll add indie and ska to my list, because that "alternative/metal/etc." choice was a bit vague.
To save Nimue from physical harm, ska predates reggae and is a bit faster and more "jumpy." It started in Jamaica, but was re-discovered in England in the late 70's (2nd wave) and later New York in the 80's (3rd wave). It's kind of on the down low now since a peak of popularity in the 90's. Some bands you might have heard of (although these are a blend of ska and other styles): Less Than Jake, Mighty Mighty Bosstones and very early No Doubt. A typical ska band will have guitar/bass/drums/vocals along with a horn section.

Okay. What if you have to vote for *everything*? Sorry, but I love most *all* genres of music. From Let's Get it Started to Strawberry Fields Forever to Beethoven's 9th...if it moves me, I'm into it.

Classical (Renaissance and Baroque, more specifically) followed closely by Asian... which is totally unrepresented in the poll

From: Taco Rubio that's a really effective way to get punched. Awww, that's not nice, burrito. Some aren't as old as us and don't know what true ska is.
