Happy Mother's Day!

I thought we should dedicate a thread to saying thanks for all the great things moms (our own or otherwise) have done for us.

I'll break the ice, feel free to follow with your own heartfelt sentiment(s).

Thanks for shooting me out of your vagina, mom. Even though you only had me so you would have a reason to live, I really appreciate the opportunity to exist in a world where I am required to hurt others just to make myself feel like I can accomplish something. Imagine if you didn't have me, then I wouldn't have even known that I would become a horrid, bigoted person or even known that there were other people that thought differently than me or that I would hate them because of their differences AND/OR their similarities. I would have never had attacks of paranoia that led me to convince myself I had skin cancer and cut them out, nor would I have had abusive daycare workers regularly burn me before I was old enough to construct complete accusatory sentences. I would have also never seen any of the Star Wars prequels if you never had me. So... Thanks.

I am sorry for all that you went through growing up. But, the good news is.. you get to make the choices now... and can have a better life.

I wasn't saying it for hugs, but thanks. I was saying it because I thought it was funny (even if true- I have dark humor because life is ironic to me and I am thankful for every bad thing that has happened to me).

...But I actually thought people might post seriously too (and maybe some n'erdowells, or at least some of my alts, would post ironic posts too). Oh well.
