HAHA!! NBC just mentioned my county in Ohio! Voting lines were 9 hours long.

The place I vote at had a 500% increase in voters this year. I talked to a friend of mine who is an election worker there this morning (I was 5th in line to vote because I knew turnout would be nuts), and anyway, he said that last election they had 50 people in the first hour. This year, they had about 300 people show up the first hour.

What decided this election?

Turnout.

Really? So it wasn't the massive voter turnout that didn't vote for Kerry and give him the 311 Electoral Votes you said he'd get?

Of course not, it's an inanimate object's fault now. False conviction turning into wild grabs at fantastic explanations.

For the record, I voted Kerry, my candidate has probably lost and it wasn't because a small % of voting machines had a small amount of unverified code added to them.
